How can i edit the source code of page in Contribute ?

You may wish to edit source code of a page, e.g. to edit some Javascript.

Contribute cannot directly edit page code. However, you can tell Contribute to edit the page in an "external application" which does edit code. The external application is Dreamweaver by default, but you can set it to use any application you prefer (WordPad, NotePad, BBEdit, etc...)

1. Navigate to the page you'd like to edit
2. Click "Edit Page" at the top
3. Choose File / Actions / Edit Page in External Application
4. The external application (Dreamweaver) will launch with the page in question
5. Make your edits
6. Save and close the file
7. Go back to Contribute and click "I'm done editing"
